Higher Self Foundation is a spiritual counseling center on the property of BEDROCK RETREAT CENTER devoted to helping all who seek to be the best they can be. We see problems simply as possibilities for growth, and help our clients bring unconscious material to the light to permit freedom from outdated, limiting patterns. We have many options and packages and would be happy to customize a package to meet your needs. Come experience the healing Bedrock has to offer. The land sits between three state parts next to the Ozark National Forest and is a very welcoming place to come and heal. We provide individual, family, corporate, and group retreats on a variety of topics, or offer the property to rent for others to conduct their own retreat. Come retreat for an hour, a day, a weekend, a week, or a month. Have a silent retreat, or retreat with friends. Provide your own food, or we will provide for you. Swim, massage, reiki, infrared sauna, and hottub are all available to help you. Stay in a yurt, a cabin, a bunkhouse or a dome tent. We also provide detoxification services for those wishing to quit smoking, drinking, or just get healthy.
In many cases our approach to Marriage Counseling is to work with a couple initially in larger chunks of time to allow them to get to the issues more quickly and to prevent dependency on therapy for solving problems. Some say that intimacy means: " in to me see." Many people are not comfortable with that kind of passion and vulnerability. The intensity of these sessions combined with working with a husband and wife team maximizes your experience. We help you determine what you would want if we could wave a magic wand, and then together we develop a treatment plan that will help you achieve your goals. Come prepared to live in both the intellectual and emotional worlds, and having some idea how you want your relationship to look. Our approach to Individual Therapy is short term, empowering and problem solving. It is not necessary to relive your past in order to heal from it. Wellness happens at the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual levels and we will work toward balance on all levels. We have many tools that we use to help bring the unconscious to light so each client can live a happy, joyous, and free life. |
